Saudia’s Executives Conduct Field Tours to Enhance Performance

An intensive program to develop operational performance by conducting field tours to monitor that performance, featuring the attendance of His Excellency Eng. Saleh N. al-Jasser, director general of Saudia, and a multitude of executives of Saudia’s companies and affiliates, had been concluded in Jazan.

This workshop, through which series of tours scheduled to cover a specific number of stations monthly to monitor performance closely, enhance service level, and to ensure safety procedures are followed, is a part of SV2020 program which is being implemented in Saudia, its strategic units and affiliates.

The program focuses on many core areas related to the requirements for safety checks. Regarding this specific area, the program is based on four methods: reviewing the facilities and operational needs, determining priorities, conducting general inspections, and taking stock of the recommendations.

Al-Jasser inaugurated the workshop with a speech emphasizing that this program aims to keep pace with Saudia’s transformational uprising by developing performance and operational efficiency and improving services. That’s why executives’ field tours is of great important to monitor the performance closely, discuss the results, and provide recommendations necessary to perform the requested development.

Al-Jasser declared that “the program also aims to increase communication and establish a direct link between leaders and their fellow workers, overcome the challenges, inform staff with the latest developments of the transformation programs and answer their questions, discover talented young leaders and give them the opportunity to contribute to the development of performance.
At the end of the program, each teamwork presented evaluative reports which assess and provide suggestions to develop the service, determine the factors that need to be corrected or modified, improve working environment, establish a direct link between staff and leaders, identify main challenges and find creative solutions, and to expand the scope of SV2020 initiatives.
