Saudia initially started out with three flights a week (JED-RUH-CAN-RUH-JED) but after only a year and a half of operating within the Chinese territory the station has established a strong market position and a favorable brand image.
These developments are a positive reflection of the station’s outstanding first half performance in 2012.
Now, as increase in demand for seats in the Chinese market becomes evident and the need for additional capacity inevitable, Saudia has decided to increase the number of flights to and from Guangzhou to four per week effective November 2012.
Saudia will operate its flights to Guangzhou from Jeddah and Riyadh on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. The flights on Saturdays are direct from Jeddah while those on Sundays are direct from Riyadh. The remaining two weekly fights, originating from Jeddah, will have a stop in Riyadh.
These additional flights are most certainly expected to further boost the performance of Guangzhou station.
