Mr. Mohammed Jan, VP Direct Sales, said Spanish was introduced on the Saudia site considering it as the main language in many countries to which the airline operate its flights. “Moreover, Skytrax has proposed to provide four languages on the site to increase Saudia’s global rating,” he pointed out.
He disclosed plans to add German as another important language on the website within a few months. “Thus, our website will be able to handle passengers who use six widely spoken languages in the world,” he added.
Spanish is the main language in Latin American countries. It is also the language of millions of people living in the United States and Canada.
Mr. Jan disclosed plans to introduce a number of new electronic and after sales services within two months, including addition, changing and cancellation of bookings and refund of tickets to save time and energy of passengers.
Saudia website currently provides a number of services such as booking, display of flights, ticket purchase, selection of seats and meals, issuance of boarding pass and Alfursan services in addition to services related to Saudia Private Aviation and Saudia Holidays.
