A Canadian Civil Aviation Authority delegation recently visited Saudi Arabia from September 1 to 10 to complete auditing requirements and meet top officials.
The team began its activities with a meeting with HE Eng. Khaled Al-Molhem, Director General of Saudia in the presence of Mr. Abdul Aziz Al-Hazmi, Deputy Director General, as well as the heads of relevant operational sectors and strategic units.
The Toronto flight comes in line with Saudia’s efforts to strengthen its international position and serve different groups of passengers including Saudi scholarship students in Canada. Saudia also intends to provide the best services to pilgrims coming from Canada for Haj and Umrah.
The new flight will also boost tourism and business and support transit passengers through King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.
During its stay in Saudi Arabia, the Canadian team completed the auditing process for the various sectors and strategic units including safety, quality, aviation security, air operations and ground services in addition to Prince Sultan Aviation Academy and Saudia Catering Co.
