Airline Reveals New Stand Design and Features; Displays the fully-electric Gen2 Car as the Official Airline Partner of the ABB FIA Formula E Championship

London, UNITED KINGDOM – Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAUDIA) the national flag carrier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, revealed a new exhibition stand at the World’s Largest Travel Trade Fair – the World Travel Market (WTM) in London.

The airline showcased its hospitality, latest products, features and services onboard at its dedicated stand, located at ME645.

Among the highlights of the exhibition stand includes a full-size Formula E car - the futuristic new Gen2 model for season five. On September 25, 2018, SAUDIA announced its partnership with the ABB FIA Formula E Championship as the Official Airline Partner of the electric street racing series, as well as the race title partner of the inaugural SAUDIA Ad Diriyah E-Prix, taking place on December 15 this year.

Additionally, the airline is featuring seat configurations in all three classes of service on static display: Guest Class (Economy); Business Class and First Class seats are available at the stand, as well as an interactive model of the new King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, and highlights of the new culinary service on board – Bistro by SAUDIA, with demonstrations from the new menu.

The airline annually participates in the WTM, which will see more than 51,000 visitors this year attend during the three-day event. More than 5,020 global exhibitors are present from 186 countries.

SAUDIA currently flies to more than 94 destinations worldwide, with a modern, mixed fleet of 155 narrow and widebody aircraft. The fleet is set to grow to more than 200 aircraft by 2020.
