The Director General of Saudi Arabian Airlines, Engineer Saleh N. al-Jasser, visited Jazan force on Wednesday, 2nd Safar 1438 AH, where he was received by His Excellency Major General Omair O. al-Amri, the commander of Jazan force, and Muhammad Kh. Abu Daya, Director of Civil Affairs in Jazan Force. During the visit, they exchanged conversations about Saudi Arabian Airlines service to support Saudi soldiers.
HE Maj. Gen. al-Amri expressed his thanks and gratitude for Saudi Arabian Airlines in recognition of the services provided to our brave soldiers stationed on the border to support them, which included increasing the number of flights and seating capacity between Jizan and various stations in addition to operating flights between Jazan and Tabuk, as well as opening an office in the civil Affairs headquarters to facilitate travel procedures.
Maj. Gen. al-Amri handed al-Jasser a plaque that honor Saudia for its support and responsiveness to the soldiers’ needs. For his part, Eng. al-Jasser stated that Saudia is proud to serve, support and contribute positively to the morale of our brave soldiers stationed on the southern border who protect our beloved Kingdom and ready to sacrifice their souls for the sake of the homeland. He stressed that Saudia is keen to provide more services in this regard.
Al-Jasser declared that “seating capacity in Jazan flights is increased up to (16%) this year and it will further increase to (121.506) seats per week next year.”
Thereafter, Eng. al-Jasser, accompanied by Brigadier General Abu Daya, took a tour during which they visited the office of Saudi Arabian Airlines at the headquarters of Civil Affairs in Jazan Force, which was opened recently to provide booking, ticketing and check-in services to our brave soldiers. After that al-Jasser went to the civilian operations center at the headquarters of Jazan force, which includes government agencies that provide services to the stationed soldiers.
The Brigadier General, Abu Daya, expressed his appreciation for the responsiveness of Saudi Arabian Airlines with the desire of our brave soldiers to increase seating capacity and flights to and from Jazan, which, in turn, contribute positively to moral of our heroes.
