Monday the 31st of December, 2007 witnessed the signing of four agreements between Saudi Arabian Airlines and SABRE Company; one of the largest international companies in the provision of technical programs for airlines. The agreements were signed by the Director General H.E. Eng. Khalid bin Abdullah Almolhem and the head of the Department of Products and Airline Solutions, Mr. Steve Klambet. The agreements included the purchase of the following programs: planning schedules, air operations and control operations, ground services, and freight revenues.

The signing of such agreement is part of the comprehensive plan to support and develop the information technology sector for the Saudi Arabia Airlines. It aim is to modernize its technical infrastructure to keep pace with radical transformations witnessed by the air transport industry.

The plan aims to optimize the use of the latest modern technology, in order to provide the highest level of customer service, and to enhance the Airlines’ competitive edge against other local and international airlines.
