Saudia Contracting with the Cooperative Insurance Company

In Saudia’s headquarter in Jeddah, Saudi Arabian Airlines has signed a medical insurance agreement with the Cooperative Insurance Company (Tawuniya) to provide a wide range ofa high level of medical services to the employees of Saudia and their families, through its largest network of service providers in Saudi Arabia.

His Excellency Eng. Saleh N. al-Jasser confirmed Saudia’s great interest in human resources that are considered to be the key factor for any successful organizational transformation, and affirmed that this agreement is an essential part of the final stages of the privatization process of Saudia Medical Services (SMS).

“Saudia”, al-Jasser declared, “is always committed to provide top-notch medical insurances services to its employees and their families who we considered to be our primary key for transformation and development”.

Raeed al-Tamimi, CEO of Tawuniya expressed his pleasure with winning this contract, stating that Saudia is one their major clients and strategic partners, and considering this agreement as a strategic part of the company’s plan which will boost Tawuniya’s medical insurance portfolios.

This agreement falls within the framework of developing the medical service of Saudiato provide many benefits and value added services for its employees and families. The insurance cards have been issued and membership and network coverage guide booklets have been provided to the employees and their families. Members living in Jeddah will get an insurance card tagged with MEDICAL logo to be used in Jeddah as well as in any other medical providers inside the Kingdom, while members outside Jeddah will be provided with an insurance card tagged with Saudia’s logo to be used both inside and outside Jeddah within the service provider network. Moreover, members can now get their medication every two months at any of al-Nahdi, Dan, and al-Sudais pharmacy branches kingdom wide.

Publicadministration of medical services urged all beneficiaries to bring the medical insurance cards and ID to be able to obtain the required service (from 1st of March 2017, 2nd of Jumada II 1438 AH).
