The celebratory aircraft touched down King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED) on Wednesday December 13, 2017, and was welcomed by His Excellency Eng. Saleh Al Jasser, Director General of SAUDIA, and a number of dignitaries who were enjoyed guided static tours of the aircraft’s unique cabins and amenities.

In 2015, SAUDIA placed an order for 20 A330-300R aircraft, 19 of them were delivered successively during the last sixteen months. Taking its total A330-300R order book and becoming the launch operator of this type cementing SAUDIA’s trailblazing position and reaffirming its commitment to further enhancing the guests experience onboard through a state-of-the-art, ultra-modern fleet.

“Taking the delivery of our total A330R order book in a record time reflects our continued investment and commitment to flying a modern fleet and to offering our guests with a superior level of comfort and safety. Enhancing our capacity with 8000.000 seats on both domestic and international routes, the new A330R fleet operated 25.000 flights and 60.000 hours of fly.” Eng. Al Jasser said.
