London, UNITED KINGDOM – The national flag carrier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was recognized at an awards event dedicated to Hajj and Umrah travel service providers.

SAUDIA was nominated in two categories, ‘Best Hajj Airline’ and ‘Best Umrah Airline’.

In London to receive the awards for SAUDIA was Vice President of Corporate Communications, Saudi Arabian Airlines, Mr. Fahad Bahdailah.

Speaking at the awards, he said: “The airline is progressing through a series of changes to enhance and make the experience of travelling for Hajj and Umrah a fulfilling and memorable experience for all. SAUDIA is working hard to ensure that services only continue to keep on providing exceptional standards, hospitality and care for our guests,”

He continued: “This award is a reflection of the dedication, commitment and service the SAUDIA team members are working diligently to provide a seamless experience, and we thank them all for their contributions.”

The event was attended by dignitaries and media figures, travel providers and hoteliers to honour the dedication to the pilgrimage services provided by various organizations.

SAUDIA flies from London Heathrow and Manchester nonstop to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 19 times per week with a state-of-the-art Boeing 777 and Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. Both routes feature the new culinary service, ‘Bistro by SAUDIA’.
