The national carrier also achieved high rate of on-time flight performance during the Haj season. The schedule was designed to ensure smooth flow of Haj flight traffic and reduce pressure on King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and Prince Muhammad Airport in Madinah. There was good coordination with ministries and government departments involved in serving the guests of God. Saudi Arabian Airlines transported more than a million pilgrims on incoming and return Haj flights from domestic airports as well as 102 international destinations, including 28 in the Middle East, 24 in Asia, 20 in Africa and 30 in Europe and America.
