


SV800, the first flight to Saudia’s new destination, Multan, departed King Abdulaziz International Airport on Saturday 1st of April 2017 at 04:30 a.m. and arrived to Multan Airport at 10:42 a.m. (Pakistan Local Time).With the attendance of Rashed al-Ajmi, Vice President for Ground Operation, and a multitude of the airport’s officials, Saudia celebrated the flight by dedicating a special check-in counter, and providing flowers and chocolate to its valued guests travelling to Multan.
Upon landing, the celebratory flight, operated by the wide-body twin-engine B777-300ER, was met with a ceremonial water canon salute and was welcomed by senior officials in Multan Airport and Saudia regional manager in Pakistan.
Multan is Saudia’s eighty-fifth international destination and the fifth to Pakistan in addition to Peshawar, Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad.
