Considering the current developments in Egypt and in coordination with the Saudi Embassy in Cairo, Saudi Arabian Airlines has made changes in its flight schedules between the Kingdom and Egypt, effective from January 29, 2011 to avoid flights at times of curfew.

On January 29, 2011 it operated 18 flights. On Sunday JAN 30, 2011 it will operate (8) flights including three from Jeddah to Cairo, two from Riyadh to Cairo one flight each from Jeddah to Burj Al-Arab Airport in Alexandria, from Dammam to Cairo, and from Madinah to Cairo.

On Monday, January 31 there will be (7) flights including three from Jeddah to Cairo, two flights from Riyadh to Cairo, and one each from Jeddah to Alexandria and Dammam to Cairo.

Saudi Arabian Airlines is operating these flights using jumbo aircraft that can carry (450) passengers, in coordination with its Cairo office and the Saudi Embassy in Egypt in order to take appropriate measures to cope with developments in the country and assist Saudis to return home as quickly as possible.
