Was Sie wissen müssen
- Report your delayed baggage at the Baggage Service Office before leaving the arrival area.
- You can also complete the online claim form via this link:Saudia Airlines - Main Menu. or scan the QR code below. Please do this within 48 hours to create your claim number.
- Your full name (exact spelling) and any other name appearing on the bag.
- Permanent and temporary contact details and any other relevant information.
- The correct type and color of your missing bag using the identification chart provided by Baggage Services staff.
- The brand of the bag (e.g., Samsonite, Delsey, American Tourister, etc.).
- A reference number will be issued and Saudia will work diligently to return your baggage.
- Use the same claim-form link to track the status of your baggage.
- If you’re traveling to another destination, contact the Baggage Services staff there for further assistance.
- Unclaimed items may be transferred to the Central Baggage Warehouse.
- If your baggage is not located within 10 days, please submit a Baggage Claim Form within 11 days.
- If you’re unable to retrieve your item within this timeframe, email Baggage.Inquiries@Saudia.com with your flight details and a description of the item (including brand and color).
- Important: Saudia is not liable for the loss of personal items.

Once your report is submitted:
- Report your damaged baggage at the Baggage Service Office before leaving the arrival station.
- A staff member will assess the damage and create a Damage Report for you.

- Please do this within 48 hours to create your claim number.
- When completing the form, make sure to include:
- Your full name (exact spelling) and any other name appearing on the bag.
- Permanent and temporary contact details and any other relevant information.
- The brand of the baggage (e.g., Samsonite, Delsey, American Tourister, etc.).
- If an alternative bag is available, it will be provided to you.
- If not, submit a compensation request by completing the Baggage Claim Form within 7 days of the Damage Report.
After your report:
Saudia’s liability is limited to SAR 1,519 unless a higher value was declared and additional fees were paid during check-in.
Saudia is not liable for:
- Damage to unchecked (carry-on) baggage unless caused by Saudia’s negligence.
- Pre-existing defects, poor-quality baggage, or minor scratches.
- Personal items left behind by guests.
- Bags tagged with a Limited Release Tag (LRT)
- Delays caused by prohibited items in the bag.
Total loss or damage:
- Compensation is based on the purchase receipt, actual market value, or a comparable brand.
Major Damage:
- Saudia will provide a replacement bag or offer fair compensation agreed upon with you.
- If your baggage hasn’t been traced and you’re traveling on to another destination, please contact the Saudia Baggage Services team there for further assistance.
- Keep the Baggage Services contact details, your file reference number, and any related documents handy for future queries.
- Saudia is not liable for compensation for items lost from inside your baggage.
