Saudia Named The Official Airline Partner for the Saudi Cup 2025 Horse Racing Championship

Saudia, the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, announced its partnership and sponsorship agreement with the sixth edition of the Saudi Cup 2025. Under the patronage of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the world's richest horse race will take place at the King Abdulaziz Racecourse in Riyadh on February 21-22.
The agreement was signed by Tariq Al-Hammad, Manager of Corporate Communications and External Relations at Saudia Group, and Ziyad Al-Muqrin, CEO of the Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia (JCSA). Saudia will be presenting the Sarawat Cup race on Friday, February 21st, which features a generous prize fund of $250,000.
Saudia's sponsorship of the championship for the third year highlights its commitment to supporting world-class international events hosted in the Kingdom. As the national flag carrier, Saudia plays a vital role in bringing the world to Saudi Arabia, leveraging its extensive network and expertise.

With a total prize money exceeding $38.1 million USD, the Saudi Cup remains the world's most lucrative horse race, awarding up to $20 million USD to winners in top positions.
