The travel insurance service aims to provide diverse insurance solutions and services to enhance and improve the experience of our esteemed guests, offering a variety of benefits, including the following:
- Compensation for trip cancellation up to 20,000 SAR
- Compensation for flight delays at 100 SAR per hour, up to 2,000 SAR
- Compensation for emergency medical expenses up to 3,750,000 SAR, including COVID-19 coverage
- Compensation for baggage delay at 100 SAR per hour, up to 2,000 SAR
- Compensation for legal liability up to 1,000,000 SAR
- Personal belongings coverage up to 10,000 SAR
- Personal accident benefits

About Travel Insurance
- The service is offered on flights departing from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia only to all countries worldwide (one-way/round-trip).
- The service is available only to Saudi citizens and holders of a resident ID (Iqama).
- Coverage includes all tickets with round-trip flights, provided that the time frame between departure and return does not exceed 90 days. Coverage is also provided for 24 hours from passing through security at the arrival terminal for one-way tickets departing from the Kingdom only.
- The covered flights are those that are purchased.
- Coverage is limited to trips that were purchased and specified in the travel ticket at the time of policy purchase.
- The guest’s age must not exceed 79 years.
- Insurance can be utilized when rescheduling travel according to the following conditions:
- It is permitted to modify the travel date for the same duration of stay by contacting Takaful Al Rajhi to update the date on the insurance policy without any additional fees. Contact with Takaful Al Rajhi must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled trip.
- The number of days specified in the purchased policy may be utilized in the event of an extended stay, with the option to purchase additional coverage for extra days, provided that the conditions outlined in the first clause are met.
- If the stay duration is shortened, the insurance policy remains unaffected, and no refunds will be issued, in accordance with the first clause.
- In case of trip cancellations, Al Rajhi Takaful must be contacted directly (via email/phone) to cancel the policy and refund the amount.
- Guests will be compensated for any claims made by the insured through Al Rajhi Takaful.
- All claims and matters related to the policy should be handled directly with Al Rajhi Takaful (via email/phone).
The following are excluded from coverage:
- All pre-existing and chronic medical conditions of travelers.
- Medical expenses that are not reported within 5 business days.
